Eli Cloud, co-founder, CEO

Eli (together with co-founder Nikii Richey) founded Sister Supply in April of 2015 after learning of the tremendous need within the Memphis community for such an organization -- and finding that none existed.

A lifelong Memphian, Eli is a “do-whatever-it-takes” changemaker who uses her passion to advocate for social justice and equality.

Eli graduated summa cum laude from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree in Behavioral Science. She and her husband, Eric, have two girls: one human (Lily) and one perpetual puppy (Sausage).

Margaret Barr, board president

Margaret is an attorney and has practiced law in both public and private sectors.  She began her career with Legal Services organizations in Kentucky and Tennessee.  She also worked for the State of Tennessee in child support services, and then specialized in divorce and family law issues with the firm of Pounders Coleman PLLC in Memphis.  She is a member of Shady Grove Presbyterian Church and has volunteered with Sister Supply for the past three years.

Siripong Malasri, PhD, board secretary

Siripong "Pong" Malasri is Packaging Department Chair at Christian Brothers University. He is passionate about helping others and has enjoyed working with students with low academic performance and turning them into successful packaging professionals working for several global companies.

He has served several non-profit professional organizations, including President of the Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers (Memphis Chapter) and President of the Institute of Packaging Professionals (Mid-South Chapter). Prior to joining Sister Supply's Board of Directors, he served on Thistle & Bee's Board.

Pong is a registered professional engineer in the State of Tennessee. He is also a packaging laboratory professional certified by the International Safe Transit Association, a packaging professional certified by the Institute of Packaging Professionals, and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt professional.

Nikii Richey, co-founder

Nikii is a Trauma-Informed Designer for the Hospitality Hub, an organization who helps people exit homelessness. She is an artist, curator, studio manager, and jewelry designer. She’s passionate about her work with Sister Supply and believes that ending period poverty can make a huge difference in menstruators’ lives.

In addition to serving as the Marketing Director for Sister Supply, Nikii has served on the committee for Works of Heart, benefiting the Memphis Child Advocacy Center for many years. She also volunteers for Choices and the Hospitality Hub, and is active with local civil rights groups.

Nikii holds a B.A in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of South Carolina and a M.A. in Journalism (Advertising) from the University of Memphis. She lives and plays in Midtown with her husband and two knuckle-head boys.

Penelope Huston

Penelope Huston is the VP of Marketing, Communications & Events for the Downtown Memphis Commission, overseeing the organization’s public engagement strategies. She is a native Memphian, and has dedicated her professional career to building community and creating strategies to promote connection, inclusivity, and diversity.

Penelope has a love for start-ups and emerging concepts. She was part of the original staff at the Memphis Flyer; on the first-year team for the St. Jude Thanks & Giving campaign; helped to define and create Memphis in May’s first new events in over 20 years - 901Fest and Great American River Run. She is a full-time working mother, a part-time runner, and a constant cheerleader for all things 901.


Dominique Defreece, Esq.

(She/Her)

Dominique DeFreece is the Survivors’ Project Civil Attorney with Mid-South Immigration Advocates. She earned her BA in International Studies and History from Rhodes College and her JD from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.  She has held board and leadership positions with several nonprofits, foundations, and civic organizations.   Dominique is passionate about menstrual equity and hopes that her work with Sister Supply will help Memphis menstruators have greater access to the period products they need. 




Daniel Arnold

Daniel is a nonprofit professional born and raised in Mobile, AL. He moved to Memphis, TN in 2015. Daniel is a huge outdoor conservation/sustainability advocate who enjoys the solitude of nature and recreational sports such as rock climbing and mountaineering. Daniel works at Memphis Rox Climbing & Community, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Soulsville USA, Memphis, TN. Memphis Rox is an indoor rock climbing facility and community center focused on empowering local community members through job opportunities and community outreach. As the Programs Manager, Daniel has the honor of working closely with other staff and local community leaders to help provide assistance to meet the basic needs of our community members. Memphis Rox and Sister Supply have partnered to create Period Power 901 to provide menstrual products to menstruators in need.


Ashley Haynes

As Government Affairs Coordinator for St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Ashley is responsible for communicating, coordinating, and organizing projects on state and federal legislative issues within the team to ensure the department is maintaining the processes needed to monitor legislative, regulatory, and policy changes relevant to the institution. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Christian Brothers University and her Master of Arts in Criminal Justice from Bethel University. Before joining St. Jude in March 2023, Ashley served as a Legislative Research Analyst for the Shelby County Board of Commissioners.” There she learned the importance of education advocacy, healthcare advocacy, and community development. Ashley is a member of the NAACP, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated- Phi Lambda Omega Chapter, and the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Black Employees and Allies Resource Group (BEARG). Ashley enjoys spending time with her two daughters, traveling, playing tennis, reading, and shopping.
